น้องๆหลายคน คงจะกำลังว้าวุ่นใจกับข้อสอบ IELTS อยู่ไม่น้อยใช่มั้ยคะ โดยเฉพาะ IELTS Speaking Part ที่ใครๆเค้าว่าเก็บคะแนนง่ายกลับเป็นทักษะที่นักเรียนไทยไม่ค่อยถนัด ไหนจะเรื่องคำศัพท์ grammar สำเนียงต่างๆ ความไม่มั่นใจเหล่านี้เป็นอุปสรรคสำคัญเลยค่ะ ที่ทำให้คะแนน IELTS Speaking ไม่ขึ้น
แต่ไม่ต้องกังวล วันนี้ พี่ๆ KPH ดีกรี IELTS 8.0 จะมาแชร์แนวข้อสอบ และ เทคนิคลับๆ ให้เตรียมตัวกันล่วงหน้า เวลาไปสอบจะได้ไม่ตื่นเต้นกันค่า
โดยปกติแล้ว IELTS Speaking นั้นจะใช้เวลาคร่าวๆรวมที่ประมาณ 15 นาที โดยจะแบ่งออกเป็น 3 parts ย่อยๆ คือ
Part 1 : Short Question & Answer
ถาม-ตอบ หัวข้อทั่วไป ใช้เวลาประมาณ 4-5 นาที พาร์ทนี้ถือเป็นพาร์ทเปิดตัวที่สำคัญเลยค่ะ น้องๆสามารถทำให้ examiner ประทับใจได้ตั้งแต่การเดินเข้าห้อง การนั่ง การทักทายที่ยิ้มแย้มเป็นกันเอง ทำตัวสบายๆ แนะนำตัวเสียงดังฟังชัด อย่าไปแสดงความตื่นเต้นค่ะ
Part 2 : A talk
พูดในหัวข้อที่กำหนด โดยสามารถใช้เวลาจด Note ได้ 1 นาที พูดอีก 1-2 นาที
พาร์ทนี้ต้องทำเวลาขึ้นมาหน่อย กดดันเล็กน้อยเพราะต้องคิดและตอบในเวลาเพียง 1-2 นาที เทคนิคง่ายๆคือ ตอบเฉพาะสิ่งที่หัวข้อถามมาเท่านั้น พี่ๆแนะนำให้น้องโฟกัสกับคำถามที่เค้าให้มามากๆ ใช้เวลาตอบคำถามให้ละเอียดและชัดเจนที่สุด เพียงเท่านี้ น้องๆก็จะสามารถพูดได้ครบถ้วนในเวลาที่จำกัดได้ค่า
Part 3 : Discussion
เป็นถามคำถามเชิงคิด วิเคราะห์ ใช้เวลาประมาณ 4-5 นาที
พาร์ทนี้ขึ้นชื่อว่ายาก น้องๆหลายคนมักจะมีปัญหาส่วนนี้ เนื่องจากคำถามเป็นแนวคิด วิเคราะห์ นอกจากจะต้องคิดคำตอบแล้วยังต้องคิด คำศัพท์ grammar ให้สอดคล้องกันอีกด้วย
ถึงแม้ว่า IELTS Speaking จะเป็นพาร์ทที่ฟังดูยาก นักเรียนไทยหลายคนไม่ค่อยถนัด แต่ก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องยากนะคะที่จะคว้า Speaking 7.0+ พี่ฝน พี่ฟ้า ดีกรี IELTS 8.0 พร้อมจะมาแชร์แนวข้อสอบเพื่อช่วยให้น้องๆก้าวข้ามความยากนี้ไปให้ได้ เราไปดูแนวกันเลยค่ะ
Part 1 : Short Answer “A face to face interview with examiner” ใช้เวลา ประมาณ 4-5 นาที
อย่างที่บอกไปแล้วข้างบนว่า พาร์ทนี้นั้นส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นคำถามที่เกี่ยวกับตัวเรา เช่น ทำงานอะไร เรียนที่ไหน เพราะฉะนั้นน้องๆไม่ต้องกังวล เพียงทำตัวสบายๆ อย่าตื่นเต้น ตอบคำถามแบบเป็นตัวของตัวเอง เท่านี้พาร์ทนี้ก็จะผ่านไปได้ด้วยดีแล้วค่ะ

เทคนิค IELTS Speaking Part 1
สำหรับพาร์ทนี้ การเตรียมตัวล่วงหน้าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่สุด น้องๆสามารถเตรียมคำตอบแล้วท่องรูปประโยคสวยๆ ไว้ก่อนล่วงหน้าได้เลย เช่น
Examiner : What do you study?
Student : I study Science – Math program.
การตอบแบบนี้อาจจะดูไม่ค่อยน่าสนใจสักเท่าไหร่ แต่ถ้าลองเปลี่ยนเป็นประโยคที่ฟังดูสวยมากขึ้น เช่น
Examiner : What do you study?
Student : Currently, I’m planning to work as an engineer in the upcoming future. So Science-Math program is what I’m studying right now.
เพียงน้องๆฝึกให้คล่องไปก่อนล่วงหน้า IELTS Speaking Part 1 ก็จะไม่ยากแน่นอนค่ะ
Part 2 : A Talk “A face to face interview with examiner” ใช้เวลาเตรียมตัว 1 นาที มีเวลาพูด 1-2 นาที

เทคนิค IELTS Speaking Part 2
IELTS Speaking Part 2 นั้น น้องๆสามารถใช้เวลาเตรียมตัว ได้ 1 นาที เพื่อตอบ 1-2 นาทีให้ครบถ้วนทุกถาม เพราะฉะนั้น วิธีจดโน้ตนั้นสำคัญมาก
- อย่าจดเป็นประโยค ให้จดเพียง Keyword ที่สำคัญเท่านั้น - อย่าพูดประโยคซ้ำกับที่มีในคำถาม (Paraphrase) เช่น
Question : Describe a book that you recently read
Answer : I’d like to talk about the novel that I just read not so long ago.
จากตัวอย่าง จะเห็นว่า เราหลีกเลี่ยงที่จะพูดคำซ้ำ book = novel recently = not so long ago เป็นต้นค่า

เทคนิค IELTS Speaking Part 3
1. ขอเวลาถ้ายังคิดคำตอบไม่ออก
ไม่ใช่เรื่องแปลก ถ้าเราจะยัง งงๆกับคำถามอยู่ แต่น้องๆต้องมีวิธีที่จะให้เราดึงเวลาได้อย่างไม่น่าเกลียด
น้องสามารถใช้ประโยคง่ายๆเหล่านี้ เพื่อดึงเวลาเล็กน้อย และยังทำให้การโต้ตอบของเราดูเป็นธรรมชาติด้วยค่ะ
That’s a difficult question, let me think for a second.
That’s a very interesting question, let me think.
It’s very difficult to know exactly, but I think/but I believe/perhaps….
It’s difficult to say, I think….
I don’t really know for sure, but I would say….
2. Paraphrase Question การทวนคำถามเป็นวิธีที่ดีที่ทำให้น้องๆมีเวลาคิดมากขึ้นไปอีกเล็กน้อย แต่ถามจะพูดซ้ำคำถามเลย ก็ไม่ทำให้ได้คะแนนดีนะคะ ถ้าอยากจะได้ทั้งเวลาคิดเพิ่มละยังได้คะแนนเพิ่มด้วย น้องๆต้องรู้จักการ Paraphrase ค่ะ
เช่น
Examiner: What can people do to try and reduce water pollution?
Student: So, what can individuals do to ensure water is kept clean? I think….
Examiner: How can events like the Olympics improve international relations?
Student: Hmmmm, how can sport bring people from different countries closer together? I believe…
3. Explain why? ให้เหตุผลทุกครั้ง หลังการตอบคำถาม
Examiner: What can people do to reduce water pollution?
Student: I believe the best way to keep water clean is to curb water use at home. (Why?) The vast majority of water is used in the home, (why?), for cooking, cleaning and washing, (why?) therefore by reducing the amount of water we use, (why?) the government can conserve the water supply and keep it clean.
4. Give example นอกจากให้เหตุผลแล้ว ตัวอย่างก็เป็นอีกสิ่งนึงที่น้องๆไม่ควรพลาดค่ะ การตอบคำถามที่ครบถ้วน มีทั้งเหตุผล และ ตัวอย่างที่ดีนั้น จะทำให้คำตอบของน้องดูน่าเชื่อถือ ยิ่งถ้าคำศัพท์และ grammar ที่น้องเลือกใช้อยู่นระดับที่ถูกต้องและเหมาะสมแล้วละก็ คะแนน Speaking 7.0+ ก็ไม่ยากอะไรเลยค่ะ
Examiner: Have the modes of transport people use in your country changed much over the last few decades?
Student: Absolutely, they have changed a lot. In the past most people used bicycles, but now they predominantly use motorbikes. For example, a recent survey found that 72% of people in Ho Chi. Minh City now own a motorbike.
